These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Uunara, including the Uunara website, iOS app, API, command-line and MCP tools, assistant integrations, account features, and any related services. By using Uunara, you agree to these Terms.

Use of Uunara

Uunara helps users receive recipes from assistants, save and organize recipes, plan meals, prepare shopping information, follow cooking steps, record cooking history, and move recipe content between the Uunara app and authorized assistant integrations. You may use Uunara only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

Accounts and Authentication

You may need to sign in through an authentication provider to use Uunara. You are responsible for keeping your account and devices secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You must provide accurate account information and promptly revoke access if you believe your credentials or devices are compromised.

Your Content

You keep ownership of recipes, recipe metadata, cooking notes, images or image URLs, comments, ratings, shopping and planning data, assistant-authored recipe notes, and other content you add to Uunara or authorize an integration to add. You grant Uunara a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, cache, index on your device, and back up that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

Assistant, CLI, and MCP Use

If you connect Uunara to ChatGPT, another assistant, a CLI, or an MCP-capable client, you authorize that integration to perform the actions exposed by Uunara and allowed by your authentication session. Some tools can create, read, update, or delete recipe data and record assistant connection status. You are responsible for reviewing assistant-generated recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and cooking guidance before relying on them.

Subscriptions, Trials, and Purchases

Uunara may offer paid plans, trials, or other purchases through the Apple App Store or another payment provider. Prices, renewal periods, trial length, cancellation options, taxes, and refunds are shown at purchase time and may also be governed by the provider's terms. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the provider's account settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Uunara, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, scrape or overload the service, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use Uunara to harm others.

Recipe and Cooking Information

Recipes, timing, ingredient substitutions, shopping lists, food handling suggestions, nutrition-like statements, allergen information, and assistant-generated cooking content may be incomplete or inaccurate. Uunara is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, or food-safety advisor. You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures, storage, and suitability for your household.

Third-Party Services

Uunara may depend on third-party services for hosting, authentication, assistant integrations, app distribution, payments, observability, support, email, or other infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. Uunara is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.

iOS, App Store, and System Features

If you obtain Uunara through the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's applicable terms. Uunara may integrate with iOS features such as Spotlight search, App Shortcuts, Siri, universal links, and secure device storage. Apple is not responsible for Uunara, its content, maintenance, support, or claims related to Uunara except as required by applicable law.

Service Changes

Uunara is evolving. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, or availability. We may also impose limits to protect the reliability, security, or integrity of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Uunara at any time and may request or use available account deletion features. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if continued operation is no longer practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Disclaimers

Uunara is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uunara and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Uunara changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or providing notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
